Are you drawn to Catholicism?
The Order of Christian Initiation of Adults (O.C.I.A.) is the process that brings the unbaptized and those baptized in another Christian denomination into membership with the Catholic Church. O.C.I.A. provides formation in the faith through prayer, attending Mass, sharing our faith journeys, and instruction in the Faith. This journey is punctuated with liturgical Rites throughout the process.
Together with our Westside Catholic Family of Parishes we have established a collaborative approach to Christian Initiation.
We welcome you to be a part of the process of O.C.I.A. with instruction beginning on Wednesday evenings in the Fall and completion at the Easter Vigil in the Spring. Parish members serve as sponsors and catechists for those seeking to enter the Church. If you are interested in becoming Catholic or serving as a sponsor for a Catecumen, please get in touch with Grace Yuellig.

We seek to recognize Christ in each person, and together be a sign of His presence in the world. Through prayer and the guidance of the Holy Spirit, and through collective use of our individual gifts, we strive to reach out with love to others, to share our Catholic values, and to build the Kingdom of God in our time and place.

Westside Catholic Family of Parishes
The mission of the Westside Catholic family of parishes is to create a strong Catholic culture on the West Side of Cincinnati through authentic worship, strong devotion, and loving outreach. We intend to be a strong source of truth, beauty, and goodness that attracts people to the faith, reengages those who have fallen away, and strengthens the faith of practicing Catholics.
Along with St. Teresa of Avila the following parishes have become the SW-4 Family of Parishes through the Archdiocese of Cincinnati Beacons of Light endeavor. This new "Westside Catholic" Family of Parishes has a rich history in Price Hill and the surrounding area. We invite you to click below to learn more about this dynamic group of parishes.
